Class 1 Casual Driver

Location: Bridgend
Shift: Zero hour contract, casual

About the Role

Take on the challenge of collecting and delivering customers' products - including palletised installation products - throughout the UK to merchants and building sites on a curtain-sided trailer.
Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure.
Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently.
Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling.
Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.Essential Skills and Qualifications

Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.
Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
