Production Operator required to join a well-established precision engineering / manufacturing company, based in the Stevenage area. This role is integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and upholding safety standards.

Production Operator Job Overview

Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

Production Operator Job Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical proficiency in operating machinery and a keen attention to detail.
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and safety awareness.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Production Operator Salary & Benefits

Full time - Permanent
Day shift - 37.5 hours a week - flexible start and finish
