INTRODUCTION

If you're looking to elevate your career in offshore wind or gain deeper exposure to the sector, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering and industry-defining projects.

Our client plays a leading role in the global offshore wind space, overseeing the full lifecycle of projects - from initial concept and development through to construction and long-term operations - across both emerging and mature markets. Established in 2015, the organisation brings together top-tier talent from across the renewable energy landscape, all united by a mission to unlock offshore wind's full potential as a scalable and sustainable energy source. The company also holds an exclusive development partnership with one of the world's largest investment platforms focused on green infrastructure.

The Role:

My client is seeking an O&M Excellence Manager to play a central role in enhancing offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) strategies, governance structures, and performance standards across their international portfolio. This position will focus on delivering optimized O&M operations by creating frameworks, tools, and procedures that empower project delivery teams. Operating across several markets, the O&M Excellence Manager will provide strategic advisory input to ensure best-in-class practices are consistently applied across the lifecycle of offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to projects from early development through to operational phases, leading or supporting O&M strategy development, cost analysis (OPEX), procurement planning, and logistical frameworks.

Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure critical insights and best practices are accessible across the wider organisation.

Oversee the design and ongoing refinement of governance models, operating procedures, documentation templates, support tools, and lessons-learned systems related to O&M activities across the portfolio.

Conduct quality assurance reviews, oversee project deliverables, and lead periodic governance assessments throughout project execution.

Represent O&M in due diligence processes during mergers and acquisitions.

Your experience:

Have more than 10 years of experience and demonstrated strong knowledge in offshore wind O&M.

Possess senior project management- and leadership experience.

Demonstrate commercial and business acumen with the ability to focus on the bigger picture.

Can navigate complex project decisions and communication towards senior management.

Have proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Maintain supply chain relationships and a market overview, in collaboration with Procurement.

Have experience establishing best practice of WTG OEM and balance of plant service contracts.

Track market and supplier technology developments and analyze the cost-benefit of portfolio implementations.

Working Environment:

My client fosters a dynamic and forward-thinking workplace, where innovation and collaboration are central. Here's what candidates can expect:

Be part of the energy future - Contribute to projects that shape the next generation of renewable infrastructure, with the chance to influence outcomes at a global level.

Empowered decision-making - Take ownership, move decisively, and help drive progress in a sector critical to the energy transition.

Supportive, agile culture - Thrive in a diverse, respectful, and inclusive setting where individuals are trusted and encouraged to grow.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

 Attractive Compensation & Benefits

- A competitive salary and benefits package aligned with regional standards.

Flexibility & Independence

- Freedom to manage your workday to support both personal and professional priorities.

Career Progression & Learning

- Develop alongside experienced industry professionals, take charge of your growth, and gain exposure across the entire offshore wind value chain.

International Collaboration

- Operate across various global markets, engage with cross-border teams, and grow your international professional network.

Inclusive & Global Work Culture

- Become part of a diverse team where open dialogue, respect, and collaboration are core to the way we work
