Inside Sales Associate

This exciting permanent role is for a Inside sales Associate to join a blue-chip biotechnology company with state of the art R&D and manufacturing facilities. As the Inside sales Associate you’ll be proactive and people-focused communicator with a passion for science and sales? We’re looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our growing commercial team at our new offices based in York.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and supporting our field sales efforts across key market segments. Whether you're reaching out to new prospects or nurturing existing customer relationships, your work will directly impact our growth and success.

Responsibilities

Duties as the Inside Sales Associate will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

* Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, digital outreach, and follow-up on marketing campaigns

* Support the lead generation strategy by using modern tools and market insights to drive pipeline growth

* Maintain accurate records and forecasts in our CRM (Salesforce) and report key metrics to leadership

* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and act as a trusted adviser throughout the sales process

* Represent the company at relevant exhibitions, webinars and virtual events, with full pre- and post-event engagement

* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align messaging and maximise conversion opportunities

* Share customer and market feedback to influence commercial strategy and continuous improvement

Qualifications

* Educated to degree level, ideally in the life sciences, and with at least three years’ inside sales and lead generation experience within life science sector.

* Strong communication skills and a confident, professional phone manner

* Experience using CRM systems (Sales Force preferred) and MS Office tools

* Comfortable using digital platforms to research and engage prospects

* Based in the UK and able to work from our York office
