Senior Authorised Person – Data Centre – Denmark
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Electrical Safety Compliance: Oversee and ensure that all electrical work adheres to safety regulations and standards. As a Senior Authorized Person, you have the authority to control and authorize work on electrical systems, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Issue and Manage Permits: Issue work permits for electrical operations, including isolations, tests, and maintenance activities. Ensure that all electrical work is properly documented and authorized before execution.
• Supervise High-Risk Operations: Supervise and monitor high-risk electrical tasks, such as live working, installations, and commissioning, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and the work is carried out without risk to personnel or equipment.
• Ensure System Isolation and Control: Manage and supervise the isolation of electrical systems for maintenance, repair, or commissioning. Ensure the correct procedures are followed for isolating and re-energizing systems safely.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Safety Audits: Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments of electrical systems and activities. Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of all team members.
• Provide Guidance and Training: Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to junior personnel and contractors regarding electrical safety practices and operational procedures. Ensure all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Successful Candidate would ideally hold SAP Certificate
• Must have experience in similar role on Data Centre or Similar Projects
• Must have EU Passport or Right to Work in Denmark
