CREM Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the Furniture Manufacturing Industry, based in Haverhill (CB9) to facilitate their busy operation at this important time.

Our client is based In Haverhill and due to their expansion is currently looking for a Bench Hand to join their team and assist with the manufacturing of bespoke furniture.

Duties:

· Work from CAD drawings to manufacture items.

· Comprise accurate cutting lists.

· Work out the most appropriate joining methods for the application.

· Examine finished and in process work for any defects before they leave for installation.

· Assemble bespoke furniture products to very high standards.

· Use both hand, power tools and machinery.

· Fill, sand and finish wooden products.

Hours and Pay:

Full time, Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm

£25,000 - £30,000 Depending on Experience, with regular overtime available

Personal Specification:

* Experience in working with wood, preferably within assembly.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to read technical drawings and plans.

* A clear understanding of Health and Safety procedures.

* Be physically fit due to the requirement of lifting and handling goods.
