Are you an experienced Medical Information Manager? Do you have experience working with third party Medical Information providers? If so, we would love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Medical Information function and managing Medical Information activity. The individual will need to provide oversight of our clients third-party medical information agency, develop responses to second line enquiries, develop standard response letters, review standard responses created by others, ensuring appropriate oversight and reporting across the function. This role includes the management of Post-trial access programmes and requires collaboration with the wider medical team and cross-functional business teams.

Neurology, multiple sclerosis, immunology experience is preferred, but not essential.

This is a contract position, offered initially for 6 months working 22.5 hours per week based in Maidenhead. (Min 2 days a week in the office / Inside IR35).

Responsibilities:

Leading Medical Information.
Management and oversight of UKI activity conducted by the Medical Information outsource agency.
Ensuring all SLRs and FAQs are regularly reviewed and up-to-date with appropriate training for outsource agency.
Responding to second line Medical Information enquiries on UK and Ireland Products.
Management of medical aspects of compassionate supply programmes (Free of Charge, Post Trial Access etc.).
Supporting Pharmacovigilance and Product Complaint functions.
Oversight of relevant UK&I medical SOPs.
Co-ordination of regular SOP review.
Input into and development of SOPs and local working processes associated with MI & Med Ops activity.
Expectation to provide ABPI review and final certification signatory input for materials created by the cross-functional teams.Experience and skills:

Primary life sciences degree, MPharm or equivalent preferred.
Experience working with third party Medical Information providers.
Experience in handling MI enquiries and generating tailored responses, standard responses, and FAQs.
Experience in managing compassionate supply and free of charge stock requests.
Experience of review and approval against ABPI Code of Practice preferred.
Ability to understand technical, scientific, and medical information.
Ability to search, interrogate and interpret results of database searches.
Ability to work independently on routine and new assignments.
Experience of working in Neurology and/or immunology preferred.
