Welder / Fabricator
Join a well-established engineering manufacturer as a Welder / Fabricator, working in a skilled fabrication team producing high-quality components for specialist vehicles. This is a permanent role offering stable hours, overtime opportunities and excellent working conditions.
Location: Marden, Kent
Salary: £31,433 – £32,565 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Options:
* 07:30 – 16:30 Monday–Thursday, 07:30 – 12:30 Friday
* OR 06:30 – 15:30 Monday–Thursday, 06:30 – 11:30 Friday
The Role
* Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
* Lay out, position and weld parts and assemblies to precise tolerances.
* Carry out MIG/TIG welding in flat, vertical and horizontal positions.
* Inspect, brush, grind and finish welded components to a high standard.
* Maintain equipment and perform basic mechanical checks.
* Work collaboratively with production colleagues to meet daily output targets.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Competent in MIG and TIG welding processes.
* Excellent attention to detail with commitment to quality workmanship.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
