We are currently looking to appoint a Fitter who has experience within mechanical assembly environments. Our client is a rapidly growing engineering business who build / assemble mechanical equipment. They are looking to recruit for roles in their Wakefield workshop for Mechanical Fitter Assemblers. This is a days based role with overtime available for those that like it!

Fitter - Role and Responsibilities - Mechanical Fitter, Assembly, Engineering, Precision Engineering, Machinery

* Manage your own workload in a small team of mechanical fitters in a hands-on assembler role
* Working on the shop floor with the team in the workshop building and assembling mechanical equipment
* Working with the team to develop strong health and safety as well as quality standards

Fitter - Skills and Abilities - Mechanical Fitter, Assembly, Engineering, Precision Engineering, Machinery

* A strong work ethic and previous hands-on experience in an assembly role for a mechanical engineering company
* Can read and interpret engineering drawings
* Follow set procedures and guidelines with good attention to detail
