As an Automation Technician, your roles and responsibilities will include…

* Assisting in the design, programming, and testing of automation systems

* Troubleshooting and maintaining automated machinery and control systems

* Collaborating with engineers and technicians on automation projects

* Supporting the implementation of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems

* Conducting system diagnostics and performance analysis

* Providing technical support and documentation for automation processes

We’re looking for an Automation Technician with the following skills and experience…

* Experience in a similar position (ideally 5 years but can be flexible)

* PLC programming knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi) preferred

* Understanding of control systems, and industrial automation

* Strong problem-solving, analytical & organisational skills

* Excellent communication with the ability to work independently and within a team

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

In return, the successful Automation Technician will receive a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 plus the following benefits…

* 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
