Position: Auto Electrician (HGV)
Location: Studley
Salary: £18 PH ( £37,440 on 40hrs )
Hours: Monday - Friday
Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

As part of our continued investment in our fleet and facilities, we are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician (HGV) to join our team at our Studley depot.
 
Role Overview
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on HGVs and associated equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring our vehicles remain roadworthy, compliant, and in excellent working condition.
 
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical faults on HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment.
Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and electrical testing.
Install and maintain electrical components such as lighting, cameras, wiring looms, sensors, and vehicle control systems.
Work closely with the workshop team to support mechanical repairs where required.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify electrical issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and vehicle standards. Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician working on HGVs, trailers, or similar commercial vehicles.
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Relevant electrical or automotive qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
A proactive approach with good attention to detail. Benefits
