Are you an MEP Project Engineer, looking for the opportunity to work on large scale projects in Critical infrastructure?

Are you available to live and work in Finland (rotational or based there) and have a current EU passport?

We are currently working with a leading engineering and construction business, they have a number of offices in the UK and Europe with a particularly strong reputation within the Critical infrastructure/Data Centre Market.

They currently have an opportunity for an MEP Project Engineer to join their site based team on a large scale project in Finland, they are open to people who want to work on rotation or base themselves in Finland full time.

They are looking for someone with experience working in a fast paced hands on work environment, they can offer an excellent package as well as superb long term prospects.

MEP Project Engineer role responsibilities:

* Review all aspects of the construction project including design, planning, procurement and construction in relation to MEP.

* Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors and stakeholders to ensure project progress.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes and other relevant laws and regulations.

* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, ensure corrective action if needed.

* Manage project documentation including progress reports, change orders, progress reports and handover documents.

* Ensure the projects are completed to the highest possible standards in line with local code and authorities.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other contractors.

MEP Project Engineer Role Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years experience within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of MEP.

* Experience within the Data Centre or mission critical power/cooling infrastructure would be highly advantageous.

* Experience working on and helping deliver complex projects on time and to strict deadlines.

* Ideally degree qualified within an engineering, construction, architectural or civil engineering discipline.

* Experience of Design and Build Construction programs.

* A strong understanding of MEP within large scale construction projects.

* Proficient in construction software or Procore, PlanGrid, ACC or similar tools.

* Happy to travel and work locally in Finland either full time or on a rotational basis

* A Current EU passport.
