Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Dunbar

Salary: £47,239 + Bonus + Overtime + Benefits

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy industrial site in Dunbar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical skills to play a key role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

The Role

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Work on three-phase motors, actuators, control panels, transformers, and electrical circuits.

Diagnose, fault-find, and repair using schematic diagrams.

Assist with contractor supervision and cross-functional support.

Conduct plant inspections and ensure high standards of safety and compliance.

Use the CMMS system for accurate reporting (training provided).

Support project and installation work with plenty of overtime opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Proven background in electrical maintenance.

Industrial experience – e.g. power, manufacturing, or engineering process environments.

Three-phase experience essential.

HV and electrical installation experience desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.

What’s on Offer

Salary: £47,239 per year

Annual bonus scheme up to 10% (discretionary)

Overtime available – paid at premium rates

Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

1 in 4 call out rota (paid standby + overtime)

25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Pension contributions up to 7%
