Sales Representative - Catering/Hospitality Sector

Sheffield (covering Birmingham to Newcastle)

 £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Car

The Package

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Company car

28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

The Role – Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business across your geographical territory, spanning from Birmingham to Newcastle. You’ll be targeting organisations with professional kitchens such as restaurants, schools, care homes, pub chains, and food manufacturers.

Key responsibilities include:

Building new customer relationships within the hospitality and catering sector

Carrying out proactive sales activity including calls, drop-ins, canvassing and meetings

Managing your own time effectively to achieve sales growth targets

Attending Head Office in Sheffield weekly to report on activities and outcomes

Representing the business with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a solutions-focused approach

The Candidate

We’re looking for a confident, motivated individual who thrives on building relationships and securing business.

Must have:

Proven sales experience within the hospitality sector

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage your own diary and sales activity effectively

Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

Experience in a similar food supply sales role

Strong existing network within restaurants, schools, or care sector catering
