Humanities Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their dynamic and successful department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The specific subject combination will likely include History and Geography, but could potentially involve other Humanities subjects depending on expertise.

Responsibilities:

The successful Humanities Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across multiple Humanities subjects. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning about the human world. Developing students' understanding of key concepts, fostering research and analysis skills, assessing progress, and providing constructive feedback are core parts of this Humanities Teacher role.

Requirements:

Applicants must be a qualified Humanities Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies). Proven experience teaching at least two Humanities subjects at the secondary level is essential. A passion for the humanities, excellent communication skills, and strong classroom management are required. We are looking for an adaptable Humanities Teacher.
