University Relations

is an integral part of Kempers recruiting team and will serve as a critical enabler of the Companys on-going successful growth and expansion. The firm has a need for an experienced University Relations Leader who is both a strategic and hands-on as well as an excellent problem solver. The Companys continued growth has created an opportunity to increase recruiting resources.



The Campus Recruiting Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide strategy in building Kempers high performing talent for the future. The leader will focus on university relationships and other partnerships, and oversee initiatives and programs designed to target, attract, and hire diverse, early career talent.



Key Ares Of Focus:



- Campus Presence Define our on-campus presence, build a consistent marketing and outreach experience and determine strategy for virtual recruiting efforts



- Program Management In partnership with HR and Business Leaders, lead the design and implementation of the summer intern program, undergraduate and graduate programs.



- Ensure that there is clarity and alignment on the campus objectives and processes, and active participation from the Business Units to support



- Campus Diversity Increase our diverse campus talent yield through core schools, partnerships and in-house programming



Position Responsibilities:



- Create and execute recruitment strategies and manage the recruiting process across several business divisions and functional areas



- Develop overall strategy to build and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience



- Partner with marketing to develop an on-campus marketing strategy ranging from event activation ideas to social media to event collateral to event swag



- Develop and maintain close partnerships with senior leaders within business units and functions as well as other stakeholders including HR Business Partner, Compensation, Talent Management



- Ensure the delivery of a consistent white-glove executive candidate experience



Position Qualifications:



- 10+ years of University Recruitment leadership and experience



- Strong business acumen; fluent grasp of issues impacting the insurance industry.



- Ability to succeed in fast past environment and adapt to change quickly.



- Excellent consultative, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills at the executive level



- Strong process-driven and operational focus



- Strategic thinker coupled with a hands-on practical approach and the ability to translate ideas into solutions that deliver measurable results



- Experience in university recruitment and in building and maintaining relationships with schools



- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage large-scale, complex initiatives



- Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously.



- Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.



- Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional oral and written communication skills.



- Detail oriented and highly organized.
