About the team:



FIS is looking for an Insert Operator to join our Print and Mail team in Canton, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in Print & Insert who likes to contribute new ideas and is willing to put in the work to build their career.



What you will be doing:



You will be setting up, operating and troubleshooting automatic mail inserting machines. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that personal production meets and/or exceeds our clients expectation for productivity, timeliness and quality.



- Keyboarding/Writing/Clicking/Working with fingers

- Standing/Walking

- Pushing/Pulling

- Lifting/Carrying

- Take good notes and ask for help when needed - this is important!



Schedule:



2nd Shift or 3rd Shift (Flexible)



What you bring:



- Willingness to work a 3rd shift schedule.

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

- Ability to occasionally reach, lift, and carry boxed materials and paper webs weighing between 25 to 45 lbs. over an approximate range of ankle to shoulder high.

- Occasional push and pull with forces upwards of 57lbs necessary to maneuver loaded carts and pallet jacks.

- Frequent use of both hands to grasp boxes and webs, open boxes, grasp inserts and envelopes, and complete paperwork.

- Ability to stand/walk for 95% of shift.

- Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.



Added bonus if you have:



- Proven computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

- Previous experience in a printing and mailing environment
