Training Centre Coordinator and Caretaker (basic DIY and housekeeping)
Established in 1968, Hidden Hearing is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care possible to its customers, with more than 100,000 people trusting us to test and care for their hearing every year. We employ over 500 people and we operate from hearing centres nationwide.
We have a varied and busy opportunity for an individual with basic DIY / maintenance, housekeeping and customer service skills, to provide a high-quality level of service working within our residential Training Centre (Dalton House) in Buxton, Derbyshire.
Dalton House is a modern training centre with a main classroom, offices, meeting rooms, communal areas and 20 ensuite double bedrooms. We normally welcome two cohorts of trainees per year to Dalton House for 20 weeks at a time; the trainees are generally resident from Monday lunchtime to Friday afternoon on each of the weeks.
The Role – Training Centre Coordinator and Caretaker
You will carry out and ensure a high standard of housekeeping, general maintenance (basic DIY), and health and safety (including fire safety).
You will also coordinate the provision of catering services (although no cooking involved) and undertake front of house tasks including meeting and greeting of trainees / employees.
There will also be general administration tasks to complete.
The Package
* Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with working pattern to be agreed with successful candidate. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
* A salary of £21,000 per annum plus 10% discretionary bonus

Our Requirements – Training Centre Coordinator and Caretaker
* Basic DIY and good housekeeping skills
* Excellent communication skills, and a friendly nature
* Take pride in your work and provide a high quality service
* Knowledge of stock control and stock rotation
* IT literate and able to use company systems as a small amount of admin together with stock ordering is required
* Good time management skills
* Basic food hygiene certificate and a first aid at work certificate (or willing to work towards)
