A small but academically ambitious independent school near Axbridge is seeking to appoint a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its Science Department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who values small class sizes, personalised learning, and pastoral integration.

This role would suit an enthusiastic Chemistry ECT or a seasoned teacher looking to bring their passion for science into a community-minded school setting. The role includes opportunities to lead academic enrichment or contribute to the school’s sustainability curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications

Strong academic credentials in Chemistry

*

PGCE with QTS (or on track for 2025 completion)

*

Strong subject delivery and ability to motivate all learners

*

Right to work in the UK
