A leading independent boarding school near Taunton is seeking an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving science department from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role is suitable for either an experienced teacher or a Chemistry ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive, high-achieving environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Chemistry lessons up to A-Level, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding and passion for the subject. The department is well-resourced with state-of-the-art laboratories and benefits from a collaborative teaching culture.

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry or related subject

*

PGCE with QTS (or working towards for ECTs)

*

Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills

*

Passion for teaching and willingness to contribute to wider school life

Right to work in the UK
