We are seeking a Head of Chemistry to lead the science department at a prestigious independent boarding school near Frome, Somerset.

Experience and Qualifications

Demonstrable leadership experience within a Chemistry department

Qualified Teacher Status with Chemistry specialism

Sound knowledge of KS3-5 Chemistry curriculum and assessment methods

Excellent communication and team leadership skills

*

Experience of pastoral care and boarding school culture advantageous

*

Right to work in the UK
