A fantastic opportunity has arisen at an Outstanding school in Shrewsbury for a passionate and driven Social Sciences Teacher to join a high-achieving and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will teach Social Sciences across KS4 and KS5, with a timetable that may include Sociology, Psychology, and/or Criminology depending on experience and expertise. This is a full-time, permanent position starting from September 2025.

Candidate Requirements:

A degree in a Social Science subject (e.g., Sociology, Psychology, Criminology)

*

QTS or PGCE qualification

*

Ability to teach Social Sciences at KS4 and KS5

*

A commitment to delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

*

Strong communication and classroom management skills

*

Passion for developing critical thinking and social awareness in students
