Description

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our client based in Stratford Upon Avon a temporary basis. The role will involve working onsite at the offices in Stratford on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week with a 2pm Friday finish.

The Sales Administrator plays a key role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of customer orders, inquiries, and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while delivering high levels of customer service.

Main duties:
Order Processing: Accurately input and process customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch and invoicing.
Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information and resolving queries efficiently.
Sales Coordination: Work closely with the Sales Team to manage sales leads, quotations, and follow-ups.
Data Management: Maintain and update customer records and sales data in the CRM system.
Liaison with Other Departments: Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Stock Checks: Assist in monitoring stock levels and liaising with production planner to ensure product availability.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare order confirmations, quotes and other sales-related documentation.
After-Sales Support: Assist with handling customer feedback, returns, etc
General Administration: Support the wider sales team with administrative duties as required.

Person specification:

Education: GCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent; a business administration qualification is desirable.
Experience: Previous experience in sales administration or customer service within a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers and colleagues.
Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving customer and order-related issues.
Accuracy of order processing – Minimise errors in order entry and quotations.
Customer response time – Timely handling of inquiries and issues.
On-time delivery rate – Coordinating with production and logistics to ensure prompt dispatch.
