About the role – Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with this secondary school based in Tower Hamlets who are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 and run small group interventions to support students with ASD and ADHD. The successful applicant will join the school on a full-time, long-term basis this September. The school have specifically asked for a Teaching assistant who can support the students in the local area. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can also work on a 1:1 basis to support students with SEN & those that lack confidence.

This secondary school based in the London borough of tower hamlet has a long-term goal of helping every individual to become successful and motivated through high standards from both teaching staff and students ensuring that all students are ready to overcome any challenge in which they may face within the future. the school is a strong believer that with the right teaching and learning strategies in place every pupil can succeed. This secondary school cater to 750 pupils from key stage 3 to 5 where students are grouped in smaller class sizes allowing the classroom teacher to know every pupil as an individual and be able to closely nurture and challenge them all through the wide curriculum available with the aim of encouraging all students to become learners for life. The school also like to pride themselves upon the resources which they have present taking an embracing approach towards advancement in technology and innovation towards teaching ensuring that learning is fun, engaging and exciting at all times.
