Description

We are looking to appoint Qualified Primary Teachers and ECT's to increase our supply pool offering to Primary Schools in Central and North Birmingham due to an increased demand from our partner schools.

If you hold UK QTS and would like to start supply teaching, or maybe increase your supply workload if you are registered with another agency and not getting enough work, we can help.

We have been established in the Midlands for over 20 years as one of the UK's leading and largest education supply agencies.

Supply teaching offers much more life flexibility to those that want it, allowing you to work as few or as many days each week that you'd like to, with no commitment to any set shift pattern. If you'd like full time supply work, we can provide 5 days of cover per week working in different schools to cover absences.

Supply allows you to do the part most teachers love most - Teaching! Whist reducing your workload in comparison to full class responsibilities.

Your standard work day will start at 8:30, you'll arrive at school and sign in, familiarise yourself with the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies then be lead down to the classroom. You will familiarise yourself with the planning for the day that has been left by the class teacher and prepare for the classes arrival. Next you'll take a register and begin delivering your lesson plans and activities for the day and get to enjoy and discover the new and different settings that each school offers. You'll finish off your day with marking the activities from that day and leaving a little note to the class teacher with any relevant information you want to pass on. You'll generally sign out for the day at around 3:30 and the work ends there.

If you'd like to find out some more about supply teaching, or would like to register to start picking up some shifts in your local area, please get in touch with Jack today. Supply Teaching is for all teachers; ECT's, experienced teachers, retired teachers who'd like to dip a toe back in adhoc.

We are partnered with the National College to offer you access to over 2500 CPD courses to further your classroom skills and learning as a supply teacher.
