Legal Secretary (Clinical Negligence) – Temp – up to £21.00 per hour – Office based.

Solicitors firm specialising in clinical negligence is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their team in southeast London.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 4-week basis and will pay between £19.00 and 21.00 per hour dependant on experience.

The role will be based at their offices in Woolwich. Working hours: 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

The Legal Secretary will provide comprehensive support to Partners and the wider team. Duties will include:

Managing legal matters throughout their lifecycle, from initial client instructions to final archiving.
Preparing and organizing case files and relevant documentation.
Communicating with clients and other professionals as required.
Taking accurate and timely notes during meetings.
Scheduling and maintaining diaries, including setting up appointments and reminders.
Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence

The ideal Legal Secretary will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Have previous legal secretarial experience ideally within Clinical Negligence.
Fast and accurate typing skills – copy and audio.
Proficient IT user, including MS Office. Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience using case management systems, preferably LEAP
