Social Worker – Child in Need / Child Protection

Location: Bournemouth

Rate: £46.00 per hour

Contract: Locum, Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

Bonus: £150 weekly accommodation allowance

Office: 3 days per week

Bournemouth are hiring experienced Child Protection and Child in Need Social Workers, and they’re not messing around. If you’ve got solid frontline experience and you're after a well-paying role with a team that actually does the work, this could be a solid move.

You’ll be based in the office three days a week and pick up a very generous £150 per week to help with accommodation if you're travelling in.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of CIN and CP cases

Complete Section 47 enquiries and support with ICPCs and Core Groups

Carry out robust assessments under the Framework for Assessment

Develop, implement and review Child in Need and Child Protection plans

Work closely with families, schools, health services and partner agencies

Maintain accurate case recordings and contribute to court proceedings when necessary

What They’re Looking For

Social Work England registration

Strong post-qualified experience in CIN and CP

Confidence with S17/S47 assessments and multi-agency working

Willingness to be office-based 3 days per week

Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handholding
