Description

Adecco are seeking a dynamic and experienced Void and Repairs Manager to lead our clients voids and repairs service within the Housing department. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and resident-focused repairs and maintenance services across our clients housing stock.

Full Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
Temporary Role - current end date of 30/09/2025 however extension is likely
£355 per day Umbrella
Hybrid Working - 3 days in office, remainder at home
ASAP start

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Void Repairs team, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Oversee operational and financial management of term contracts for repairs and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with statutory, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
Manage void budgets and ensure value for money in all service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies for preventative maintenance and emergency planning.
Provide technical expertise and advice across the Housing department.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.
Monitor and report on performance (KPIs), ensuring continuous improvement.
Manage third-party contractors and consultants to maintain habitable homes.
Represent Housing at resident and stakeholder meetings.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience managing a voids and repairs service.
Strong understanding of contract procurement, planning, and delivery.
Experience in budget planning, financial control, and cost modelling.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience working with ICT systems and performance data.Qualifications:

Relevant professional construction qualification or equivalent experience.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
