Or are you and Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering working in FMCG, food or chemical industry looking for a route into the pharmaceutical industry.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a team in Liverpool - on a permanent basis.

About the organisation:

You will be joining a dynamic and fast-growing pharmaceutical company specialising in the development of sterile injectables. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a top performing engineering function and take it to the next level.

About the Job:

As Senior Engineering Manager, you will manage the activities of the Engineering Maintenance Departments to deliver high-quality services to the site. You will be responsible for managing change, leading site improvement and driving strategy on site.

You will provide engineering and maintenance services within budget and in line with the MHRA, FDA and Health and Safety guidelines.
You will develop maintenance strategies ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
You will implement continuous improvement initiatives and reliability enhancements within the Engineering Maintenance department.About you:

You will be a qualified engineer, with a strong understanding of hands-on maintenance and reliability. Several years' experience in maintenance or plant management, including managing personnel working on automated or semi-automated process plants

You will have previous experience working in a regulated industry, ideally pharma.
Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and EU regulatory requirements
Strong management skills, including budget preparation and control.
