Stock Controller

Alvaston, Derby 

£12.21p/h

Temp to Perm 

We are recruiting for a stock controller to join the logistics team at a large depot based on the outskirts of Derby. This role is split between the office and warehouse in which you will be monitoring and processing stock moving in and out the warehouse both physically and using IT systems. 

Working Hours 

Monday to Friday 

06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 weekly rotation

Day to Day tasks:

Stock counting, both on foot and using PPT machine. 

Processing returns through WMS, logging and removing any damaged products appropriately.

Running stock reports for the management team. 

Lifting and moving stock around the warehouse. 

Identify and Investigate any discrepancies. 

Using warehouse management software to input data and liase wiht other departments. 

About you

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual who will be an asset to the team, looking for a long term role. Whilst WMS, SAP and PPT experience would be beneficial for the role, we would also consider those with no prior work experience, for example school leavers looking for their first opportunity. Training can be discussed on interview. 

Essential Requirements:

Must be over 18 years of age

Current Right to Work in the UK

Ability to carry out the physical demands of the role. 

Be willing to learn and assist other departments when necessary.

Fluent in English, verbal and written.
