We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a lovely school in Bicester, Oxfordshire, starting September 2025. This role can be either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility for the right candidate. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 students.

* Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support students in their learning journey.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and enthusiasm for learning.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery.

* Maintain strong communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 2.

* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.

* Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices.

* A flexible and team-oriented approach to working within a collaborative school environment.
