Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.

* Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-supported.

* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive achievement.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all abilities.

* Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience.

* Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and well-being.

* Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience teaching Year 6 and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

* Knowledge of SATs preparation and effective assessment strategies.

* Strong classroom management and communication skills.

* A passion for education and helping pupils reach their full potential.

* A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
