Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Project Administrator to work for a company in Didcot, Oxfordshire

Role: Project Administrator

Hours: 08:30 - 17:30

Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

The Project Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of projects across the business and maintain high standards of customer service by providing support to the company's project department. Key focus areas include improving operational efficiency, aiming for continuous improvement in the administration of projects and providing support to Project Managers to ensure the company provide excellent quality in the delivery of projects to our customers.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Administrator

Liaise closely with Project Managers to keep client information, project plans and other project paperwork fully under control and updated in line with the demands of the projects.
Work with the Project Managers to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated and to ensure the overall direction and integrity of the projects.
Assist in the day-to-day planning and implementation of projects to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Attend project meetings as required and document these meetings as directed by the Project Managers.
Liaise with the other operational and engineering teams to provide cross support of resources and technical input.
Ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction and customer service.
Support other functions of the business, as necessary.
An available resource across the company project delivery function, this role is likely to be based predominantly on a single large public sector contract. Additionally, to the above, this would include activities including:
Creation of client and stakeholder proposal packs
Liaison with contractors (surveyors and delivery partners)
Respond to and resolve applicant enquiries
Administration and upkeep of project tracker

About you:

Must be able to obtain and retain SC level clearance.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and a good attention to detail.
Be fully conversant with all aspects of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Have the ability to work with staff and sub-contractors at all levels.
Build lasting working relationships and show consideration for colleagues.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times and convey this to others.
Be able to take responsibility for their area and be proactive in finding solutions as problems arise.
