Building Physics Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire – Hybrid options available

Salary: £35,000 - £48,000

A leading consultancy firm is seeking to hire a talented Building Physics Engineer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team. As a Building Physics Engineer at the company, you will play a key role in delivering environmental performance analysis and sustainable design strategies across a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities:

Keeping up to date with changes to regulations, technology and practices in building physics and sustainability
Conducting dynamic thermal simulation modelling via DesignBuilder, IES 
Carrying out Part L / EPC assessments 
Conducting thermal comfort analysis.

What we’re looking for:

A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subjects 
Minimum of two years’ experience in a Building Physics role 
Proficient in Energy Modelling, using IESVE software, conducting energy analysis
Good understanding of UK building regulations and competency in undertaking environmental assessment methods I.E. Part L, SAP, BREEAMBenefits:
