Job Title: CMM Programmer
Location: Willenhall, Walsall
Hours: Monday to Thursday 04:00pm – 02:15am (Late shift)
Salary: Upto £40,000 per annum

Actio have an exciting opportunity for a CMM Inspector to join our client based in Willenhall. In this role, you would be responsible for inspecting components supplied into Motorsport, Automotive, Defence etc.

* Within this role you will report directly to the Quality Manager.

Key accountabilities:

* Ability to read technical drawings and interpret geometric features/tolerances.

* To perform CMM Inspection using Aberlink software on the CMM Machine.

* Working with various materials including aluminium, steel, castings, cast iron etc.

* Operating CMM equipment and the ability to manually measure parts using conventional equipment – verniers, micrometres, gauges, callipers etc.

* Documenting quality issues and reporting non-conformances.

* Generating CMM Programs to measure components in CNC mode.

* Compiling detailed inspection reports.

* Complying with standards of safety, company policy that apply to the product.

* Expert knowledge of FAIRS.

* Adhering to health and safety standards as set out by the company.

Knowledge Required

* Ability to read technical engineering drawings

* CMM Inspection

* Knowledge of measuring equipment

* CMM Programming
