An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and well-qualified Chemistry Teacher to join a prestigious independent boarding school in Salisbury from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position ideally suited to an experienced teacher or a committed ECT eager to teach in a high-achieving academic environment.

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping a stimulating curriculum and supporting students who are motivated and curious, many of whom go on to study science at top universities.

The successful Chemistry Teacher will:

Teach Chemistry across KS3 to A-level, with a strong emphasis on practical science and inquiry

*

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that stretch and support learners

*

Contribute to curriculum development and department-wide planning

*

Prepare pupils for public examinations with precision and care

*

Engage with boarding life, attending events and supporting pupils’ wider development

*

Support extra-curricular STEM initiatives such as Olympiads, clubs, and competitions

Ideal candidates will:

Hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related field

*

Possess QTS or equivalent international teaching qualification

*

Demonstrate a deep passion for Chemistry and a commitment to inspiring young minds

*

Be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities and boarding duties where applicable
