Title: Panel Assembly Technician -

This dynamic Panel Assembly Technician role presents an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the aerospace industry. The Panel Assembly Technician - 1443 position is a crucial part of the company's manufacturing operations, responsible for the assembly and final assembly processes of aluminium composite panel manufacture.

As a Panel Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Inserting panels with the correct type of mechanical fasteners
- Potting of inserts
- Bonding of various brackets and equipment
- Bonding of inserts using various adhesives
- Bonding components and sub-assemblies using adhesives to drawing specifications
- Producing work to required quality standards and drawing specifications
- Maintaining all health and safety disciplines in the composite area
- Self-inspection and the ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings and procedures

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a manual handling role with demonstrated manual dexterity
- Prior experience within a production or manufacturing environment, with regular use of hand tools
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals, with a high attention to detail
- Comfort working to tight time frames and demanding quality requirements
- Relevant experience in carbon fibre or industries such as space, aerospace, automotive, or motorsport
- Ability to work from detailed drawings and electronic work instructions, within specific procedures
- Experience working in confined spaces above floor level (working at height)
- Experience working within a clean room environment and as part of a team
