An inspiring and student-centred school in Bath is seeking a creative and committed Art ECT to join its thriving Visual Arts department from September 2025. As an Art ECT, you will be welcomed into a team that values creativity, expression, and high standards in Art education. The department runs exhibitions, workshops, and enrichment clubs to enhance student experience.

The successful Art ECT will:

Teach engaging and accessible Art lessons across KS3 and GCSE

*

Develop students’ practical skills in drawing, painting, mixed media, and digital art

*

Encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and personal voice in artistic work

*

Help students prepare for coursework and final assessments

*

Collaborate with other staff on exhibitions and displays around the school

*

Participate in departmental planning and resource development

*

Receive regular feedback and support as part of the school’s excellent ECT programme

*

Take part in Art and design trips, competitions, and local partnerships

This Art ECT role is suitable for candidates who:

Are completing their training in 2025 and have a degree in Art or Fine Art
