Role: Project Manager

Salary: £34,500 – £44,850

Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (min. 2-3 days per week in office)

Contract(s): 2 x Permanent | 1 x Fixed Term/Secondment (18 Months), Full Time 35 Hours Per Week

As a Project Manager in our Transformation Team, you will plan, implement, and track projects to align with strategic goals. You'll lead impactful change initiatives across product groups and work creatively to improve educational systems. Based in Cambridge, you'll deliver high-impact projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the business. You'll bring evidence-based solutions to complex problems and drive innovation in international education.

About The Role

In your role as Project Manager, you will actively drive and deliver business change initiatives while maintaining high standards for project quality, cost, timelines, and scope. Your skills and expertise in stakeholder management, project design, planning, execution, governance, risk assessment, and benefits realisation will be pivotal to your success.

You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to identify business needs, develop project plans, manage scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, budgets, and ensure clear communication with Project Sponsors and Steering Groups. Additionally, you will engage with the Transformation Team and project management community, focusing on professional development and knowledge sharing.

About You

You're a self-motivated Project Manager with demonstrated experience in project and change management. You will bring a solid background and competence in core project management skills such as planning and scheduling, risk management, budgeting and cost control, scope management, and quality management. Experience from a corporate/public sector project-related environment is desirable.

Your leadership and communication skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution, will be essential in inspiring and guiding your project team towards accomplishing project goals. You should be proficient in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and Visio. An understanding of Agile methodologies would be beneficial, especially when working on technology elements of project delivery. Your problem-solving abilities, adaptability, time management skills, and attention to detail will ensure that you can effectively manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results.
