Description

A creative and high-achieving secondary school in Beaconsfield is seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Art ECT to join its celebrated Art & Design department from September 2025.

The school is deeply committed to the arts and has strong links with local galleries, arts organisations, and creative industries. As an Art ECT, you’ll benefit from expert mentoring, an inspiring department, and the freedom to explore a range of artistic disciplines with your students.

As an Art ECT, your role will involve:

Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and GCSE

*

Planning engaging and inclusive lessons that explore various media and cultural influences

*

Supporting students in developing portfolios and celebrating their work

*

Contributing to whole-school art exhibitions, competitions, and arts events

*

Working collaboratively with the Art team to refine schemes of work

*

Participating in professional development workshops and ECT training

*

Creating a welcoming and creative classroom environment

*

Reflecting regularly to improve your craft as an early career teacher

Are completing their teacher training in summer 2025 and hold a relevant Art degree
