Key responsibilities as a Physics ECT:

Deliver engaging Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 with potential for A-Level support

Build student confidence through experiments, modelling, and real-life applications

*

Work closely with experienced physics teachers and your ECT mentor

*

Contribute to curriculum innovation and resource development

*

Participate in enrichment such as Physics Olympiads, STEM fairs, and science clubs

*

Join CPD sessions focused on pedagogy, classroom management, and subject knowledge

*

Develop your reflective practice and adapt lessons for a range of learners

*

Maintain a strong classroom presence with high expectations and support
