Morson Talent is supporting the delivery of Sizewell C (SZC) - the UK's next major nuclear new build project. Following on from Hinkley Point C, SZC will deliver low?carbon electricity to 6?million homes and play a critical role in achieving Net?Zero by 2050.

We are recruiting a Project Manager within the Engineering & Technical (E&T) function of the Civil Works Programme (CWP), with a focus on the Conventional Island and Balance of Plant (CI?BOP) scope. This role is integral to delivering the civil engineering design on time, to budget, and to the required technical quality.

Key Responsibilities
Manage cost and schedule performance across CI?BOP scope

Oversee Level?3 (L3) Design Supply Chain contracts, including claims and variations via CEMAR

Support Procurement with design contract preparation and task?order management

Ensure Execution Design Ready (EDR) packages are delivered on time to meet construction milestones

Integrate constructability and risk requirements into the design process

Report on delivery status, support governance processes, and manage change control

Line?manage Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers

Collaborate with the Technical Engineering Manager to align design scope and priorities

Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders across SZC and the Civil Works Alliance

Required Experience & Qualifications
Degree?qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE), or working towards chartership

Proven experience managing complex civil engineering or infrastructure design projects

Strong understanding of design, procurement, construction planning and delivery

Familiarity with managing multi?disciplinary teams and large?scale suppliers

Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills

Desirable
Experience in nuclear or similarly regulated environments

Background in delivering to RIBA stages

Understanding of Design & Build project models
