A leading secondary school in Amersham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its outstanding Science Department from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for either an experienced Science Teacher or an ECT looking to join a school with excellent results and a supportive ethos.

Your key duties as a Science Teacher will include:

Planning and delivering dynamic lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 available)

Supporting students in developing key scientific skills through experimentation and inquiry

*

Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum

*

Preparing students for exams with rigorous assessment and targeted support

*

Running or assisting in science-related clubs, competitions, and events

*

Participating in CPD and contributing to whole-school improvement initiatives

To be considered for the Science Teacher role, you will:

Hold a degree in a science subject and QTS

*

Have strong curriculum knowledge and an inclusive approach to teaching

*

Be passionate about science and committed to raising standards

*

Be a team player with strong communication and organisational skills
