A creative and highly regarded school in Cheltenham is seeking a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher to join their successful Arts department for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025. This position is open to experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to developing students’ artistic talents and creative confidence.

The school places the arts at the heart of its curriculum and offers students outstanding opportunities to explore a wide range of artistic disciplines. The successful Art Teacher will have access to excellent studio spaces and the support of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities for this Art Teacher position will include:

Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with possible KS5 depending on experience

*

Supporting students in producing GCSE portfolios and exhibiting their work

*

Delivering lessons that incorporate drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media

*

Organising and participating in local exhibitions and creative enrichment activities

*

Providing regular feedback and personalised learning strategies

*

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental projects

The ideal Art Teacher will:

*

Hold a relevant degree in Art or Fine Art and have QTS

*

Be passionate about nurturing creativity in young people

*

Demonstrate strong classroom management and interpersonal skills

*

Be open to working collaboratively in a dynamic department
