As a Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching engaging and thought-provoking Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with possible KS5 for suitable candidates)

*

Inspiring students through exciting experiments and real-world biological applications

*

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning

*

Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress

*

Supporting students in extra-curricular activities such as Science Club and STEM competitions

*

Working closely with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and forward-thinking Science curriculum

*

Participating in parent meetings and academic intervention when required

*

Maintaining excellent classroom management and promoting a culture of curiosity

The ideal Biology Teacher will:

Hold a relevant degree in Biology or Life Sciences, and QTS

*

Be confident in delivering outstanding lessons tailored to diverse learners

*

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continued professional development

*

Be eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and the success of the Science Department
