English Graduate Teaching Assistant - Southeast London Schools
Location: Southeast London (including Lewisham, Greenwich, Southwark, Bexley)
Position: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: GBP85-GBP100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support a variety of inclusive and forward-thinking primary and secondary schools across Southeast London. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational professionals, or those interested in literacy development.

About the Role:
You will be working alongside experienced teachers to support students reading, writing, and communication skills. Youll provide one-on-one or small group interventions, help pupils with SEN or EAL, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
· Assisting in English Language and Literature lessons (KS2-KS4)
· Supporting students with reading comprehension and written expression
· Leading or supporting literacy intervention groups
· Helping prepare lesson materials and resources
· Providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· A degree in English or a related subject (2:2 or above)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A genuine interest in education and pupil development
· A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
· Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
