Primary Teaching Assistant – Supportive School in Uttlesford
📍 Uttlesford

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Uttlesford is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in children’s education.

Please note: You must be able to drive due to the school's rural location.

The Role:

*

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils across the primary phase, helping them to thrive academically and socially.

*

You’ll work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN.

*

Assist with classroom activities, preparation of learning materials, and positive behaviour support.

*

Contribute to a warm, encouraging environment where pupils feel safe and engaged.

*

Collaborate with the class teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants to ensure consistency and excellent support across the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

*

Ideally, experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar setting

*

A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in working with children

*

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

*

Reliability, dedication, and a nurturing approach

This is a full-time, term-time only Teaching Assistant role that’s perfect for someone looking to start or grow a career in education.

📅 Start Date: ASAP
🕗 Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
