Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs 
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and 
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT)
AfC Band 8d

The Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs, will support the Group Director of Corporate Affairs in providing strategic and operational management of Lincolnshire Community Health Services Trust and United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (the Group) corporate business affairs, integrated governance, corporate business processes and related internal systems.  

As Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs you will provide assurance on compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory and governance framework. You will also provide oversight on changes and impact assessment on each of the Trust’s activities, ensuring that each of the Trust’s corporate affairs are undertaken to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements and ensuring the Group Board are briefed appropriately. 

You will have the opportunity to deputise as the principal advisor to the Group Board, Group executive leadership team, and the organisation in all aspects of corporate governance, communicating with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, ensuring the Trusts complies with their statutory and regulatory duties.   Alongside the Director of Corporate Affairs, you will provide leadership to the Information Governance, Corporate Governance and Legal functions of the two organisations.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. 

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations. The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
