We are on the lookout for a temporary Chef for our Client based in Barrow-in-Furness! This is a temp role which would become permanent for the right Candidate

Job Title: Chef
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full Time
Hourly Rate: £16 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Start Date: 1st July 2025
End Date: 31st July 2025
Driving Required: No

What You'll Do:

As our Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering mouth-watering meals that delight our staff and guests. Your creativity and passion for food will shine through as you prepare and present a variety of dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with the team to design exciting menus that cater to a variety of tastes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.

A passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food safety practises.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with others.
A creative mindset with the ability to come up with innovative meal ideas.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
