Telecommunication Operators Engagement & Delivery Manager
Location: UK Based
Contract Type: 2 year contract
Pay Rate: Competitive Day Rate inside IR35

Our central government client is looking for an experienced delivery and engagement professional with a deep understanding of telecoms and operational delivery in sensitive environments. We're looking for a capable and trusted individual to take the lead in shaping vital partnerships with Telecommunication Operators, ensuring the delivery of key national capabilities that support public safety and security.

The Role

As the Telecommunication Operators Engagement & Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving collaboration across government, industry, and delivery teams. You'll ensure the timely implementation of advanced communications data systems that support critical operational requirements.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading strategic engagement with major Telecommunication Operators.
Managing delivery of high-impact capabilities within legal and regulatory frameworks.
Providing oversight to complex technical projects in a sensitive operational context.
Aligning commercial processes and delivery strategies with national objectives.
Managing risk and ensuring successful outcomes across a complex stakeholder landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Foster and manage trusted relationships with Telecommunication Operators.
Drive the delivery of secure, resilient, and legally compliant technical capabilities.
Coordinate across government, commercial, and technical teams to ensure programme success.
Support the governance, assurance, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
Navigate commercial, technical, and policy challenges in a regulated environment.

Essential Experience & Skills

Demonstrable experience (5-10 years) in stakeholder engagement, telecoms operations, or delivery management.
Strong background in working with Telecommunication Operators, law enforcement, intelligence, or similar sectors.
In-depth understanding of the Investigatory Powers Act and telecoms regulatory frameworks.
Proven success in delivering technology solutions within secure, high-stakes environments.
Ability to lead complex delivery programmes and manage cross-sector collaboration
